Well here goes nothing...

I used to work for NML (National museums Liverpool) and i was enjoying my job working in the cafe where i worked. but as of 20/10/09 i dont work there anymore. i got the sack...What grounds? being sick.

I took a union rep with me to help back my case up and have another 6 months probation put on for me to prooved myself, but it seems that the company dont like people who have things going on that is making them sick.
Recently i was unfortunate to cath the swine flu for which i sent in doctors notes and rang up saying about it. My previous illnesses couldnt be helped as they were cold/flu and its not wise to work in catering wise a bug you can pass round. I also have trouble with a very sensative stomach problem which stress can aggrivate and make things difficult.
In April 09 my sister was diagnosed with brest cancer and the family household has been in an uproar and things havent been very positive in my life.

This crappy company just took the absolute piss, the policys and rules they have are ridiculous, they are not family friendly at all. and to make matters worse...i didnt sign a contract and yet they are deducting my pay of 3-4 weeks and im only getting paid a week out of a month i have worked.
